After some research I convinced myself to get a 3-day pass instead the usual 1-day pass for Angkor Wat. The price difference is not that big, and there is sooo much to see that I think it's totally worth it. I did this first day by bicycle, visiting the small temples of the "big circuit", leaving the very best for last.

Today I took a well deserved chill day after the long journey from southern Laos. I took the time to walk around and explore this beautiful city, recharging my energies to visit Angkor Wat tomorrow, the main attraction of Siem Reap, and even of all of Cambodia.

I said goodbye to Laos after more than 2 weeks, definitely longer that I thought I would. I loved this country, and its super laid-back culture. After about 10 hours in transit I arrived to Siem Reap, home of the world renowned and biggest temple complex: Angkor Wat.
